The Türkiye Jewellery Workshop, which brought together representatives of the jewellery sector on a national scale for the first time, was held in Ankara in December 2025. As the Konya Goldsmiths and Jewelers Association, we took part in the workshop and represented the Konya jewellery sector on the presiding panel.
The sector's problems and proposed solutions
The workshop, which opened at the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, addressed the sector's current problems, expectations and proposed solutions. Konya was among the first 13 provinces taking part in the workshop; our association helped voice the views and demands of Konya's jewellery tradespeople at the national level.
Visit to the Ministry of Trade
As part of the programme, we also visited the relevant department heads of the Ministry of Trade and exchanged views on the development of the sector and proposed solutions.
