Data Deletion Request

This page explains how you can ask the Konya Goldsmiths and Jewelers Association ("KSD" or the "Association") to delete personal data you sent us through the ksd.org.tr website or the KSD mobile app ("KSD Konya Sarraflar Derneği" on Google Play, "KSD Güven" on the App Store). The website and the app do not ask you to create an account; your personal data reaches us only through forms that you fill in.
1. How to request deletion
- Send an email with the subject "Data deletion request" to info@ksd.org.tr.
- In the email, state which form you used (Complaint and Report Form, contact form, KSD Academy pre-registration or newsletter subscription), the approximate date, and the name, email address or phone number you entered. The Complaint and Report Form does not ask for your identity, so for those reports it is enough to name the business you reported and the date.
- If needed, we will contact you by email or phone to confirm that the request is yours.
- Your request is completed within 30 days at the latest, and we will tell you the outcome by email.
2. Data deleted on request
- Complaint and Report Form: report type, the business or person reported, the description of the incident and the photos you uploaded.
- Contact form: name, email address, subject and message.
- KSD Academy pre-registration: name, phone number, email address, company name, participant type, chosen training programme and message.
- Newsletter subscription: email address.
- Cookie preference record: the cookie choice you made and your IP address.
This data is permanently deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to you.
3. Data that may not be deleted
If keeping a record is required by law (for example, at the request of judicial authorities or the police) or is necessary for the Association to protect its rights in a legal dispute, that record may be kept only for that purpose and only as long as necessary. In that case we will tell you the reason.
4. Retention periods without a request
- Complaint and report records: 5 years after the report is concluded.
- Contact form messages: 1 year after the message is answered.
- KSD Academy pre-registrations: 1 year after the application is concluded.
- Newsletter email addresses: as long as the subscription continues; deleted within 30 days after the subscription ends. To end your subscription, write to info@ksd.org.tr.
When these periods end, the data is deleted or anonymised.
